Press release on the Monetary Council’s meeting of 18 August 2003
1. The Report on Inflation, August 2003 discussed and approved by the Monetary Council is now available on the MNB’s website. So is a related assessment of monetary conditions as the Monetary Council’s separate statement.
2. Having reviewed economic and financial developments at its meeting of 18 August 2003, the Monetary Council left the Bank’s base rate unchanged at 9.50%.
