The Magyar Nemzeti Bank, as an institutional partner providing a dual internship, in cooperation with the John von Neumann University in Kecskemét, offers opportunities for dual students applying for and successfully enrolling in the designated training to gain real work experience based on the compulsory curriculum during their university years. In the course of the dual internship, students can get to know the organization and operation of the Magyar Nemzeti Bank and its subsidiaries, the Budapest Stock Exchange and the GIRO Zrt. Students can also participate in solving professional tasks while being mentored by colleagues from the MNB, the Budapest Stock Exchange and the GIRO Zrt. having a high professional reputation. The work experience gained during the internship can be used by students as career starters both in the public and the private sectors.

The dual training consists of 7 semesters (3.5 years), and each semester starts with a theoretical education. For 12 weeks, students acquire the theoretical curriculum of the program, which is put into practice in the autumn-winter semester in 8 weeks, and in the spring-summer semester in 16 weeks in the fields of specialization of the Magyar Nemzeti Bank and its subsidiaries. During the examination period, the level of acquisition of theoretical and practical knowledge is assessed together with the University, and then at the end of the examination period the students work in the work phases of the Magyar Nemzeti Bank and its subsidiaries.

The Magyar Nemzeti Bank provides expertise, a predictable career path and a unique labour-market opportunity to students participating in dual training, with whom the MNB concludes a student employment contract and provides them with a monthly student salary for the period spent on studies and internships.
