As of the 24th May 2016 the Central Bank of Hungary publishes the „Chart-pack on recent economic and financial market developments” with upgraded structure and content. In line with the international best practice, the Chart-pack provides up-to-date information on the most important financial and economic processes.

As of the 30th of June, 2005 the Magyar Nemzeti Bank (the Central Bank of Hungary) publishes a comprehensive chart-pack about the latest information in financial markets and the macro-economy. Our aim is to provide analysts and the public with a frequently updated, easy-to-use, clear-cut data set, in order to promote better knowledge and understanding of the current economic and financial market situation. The charts are frequently used for analyses, presentations, and for educational purpose.

The goal of the upgrade is to facilitate the achievement of the abovementioned objectives in an effective manner. With the modifications, there is a greater emphasis on the international context and on understanding the deeper interrelations.

There are 19 new charts in the chart-pack. In 21 cases, we made minor changes or integration. We deleted 12 charts because of redundancy or the loss of informational content. In conclusion, the length of the chart-pack does not change materially.

There is no change in the publication schedule: the updated chart-pack is published on the day of each rate-setting meeting at 5 p.m. at the usual place:
