After 23 September 2015, when the three-month deposit became the key policy instrument replacing the two-week deposit, the two-week deposit was offered for the MNB’s counterparties in variable-rate tenders with limited quantities until 13 April 2016. Following the gradual reduction in the amounts offered at tenders carried out at a weekly frequency, the stock of two-week deposits fell to zero by 27 April 2016, and was phased out completely.
