Elected on 27 March 2023 for a term of six years

He graduated from the Benedictine High School of Pannonhalma and then obtained a Master's degree from the Budapest University of Economics. In parallel to his university studies, he was a member of the "Invisible College" (Láthatatlan Kollégium), where he studied mathematical economics, macroeconomics, monetary policy and business valuation. His first job was at Concorde értékpapír Zrt. (1997-2001), where he worked as a corporate finance consultant. After this he worked at CA-IB Tőkepiaci Tanácsadó Zrt. and HVB Bank Zrt. (2001-2006). For ten years he was a capital markets and M&A consultant and actively organised and executed major stock exchange, M&A, bond and mortgage bond programmes in the CEE region. 

After a career as a consultant, he became CEO of Díjbeszedő Holding Zrt. in 2006. His main tasks were the creation and implementation of the Group's strategy, the management of the expansion in the region and the introduction of innovative products.  After the acquisition of the company by Magyar Posta and FHB Bank, he worked for two years as Deputy CEO of Magyar Posta in charge of key accounts. Since January 2016, he has been working as a private investor in the region, mainly in the fields of agriculture and food, IT and venture capital investments.

Since September 2020, he is the hHead of the Center for Business Studies at Mathias Corvinus College (MCC), where he is engaged in teaching and research on investment, financing and economic cooperation in the Carpathian Basin.

He has held ownership and management positions in a number of investment and financial services companies, has been a member of the board of directors of several large companies (Magyar Posta Zrt., MVM Energetika Zrt., FHB Jelzálogbank Nyrt.), has served as Chairman of the Board of Libri-Bookline Kereskedelmi Zrt. and has been Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the National Talent Centre Ltd. 

His other positions include: Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Széll Kálmán Foundation, Chairman of the Economic Council of the Pannonhalma Abbey and member of the Supervisory Board of the Sapientia Foundation of the Hungarian University of Transylvania.
