The obverse, on the right, bears a detail of a representation of a wooden headboard with wind chimes at the Mohács National Memorial Site. The value numeral and the inscription ‘FORINT’ are positioned to the left of the representation in the upper portion of the coin, in two horizontal lines, aligned with the edge. The circular legend ‘MAGYARORSZÁG’ is positioned on the edge, in the lower portion of the coin. The mint mark ‘BP’ and the mint year ‘2015’ are positioned to the right of the representation. Slightly to the right from the centre, the reverse features a representation of the wooden headboard at the Mohács National Memorial Site. The emblem of the Mohács National Memorial Site is placed to the left of the representation. The circular legend ‘MOHÁCSI NEMZETI EMLÉKHELY’ is inscribed on edge of the coin. The emblem of Hungarian national memorial sites is positioned to the right of the representation, with the inscription ‘1526’ below it. The initials of designer Virág Szabó appear on the lower right edge of the coin. The collector coin is produced from an alloy of copper (90%) and zinc (10%). It weighs 18.4 grams, it is 37 mm in diameter and it has a milled edge. The mintage limit of the coin is 5,000 pieces in bronze patinated finish. The non-ferrous collector coin with a face value of HUF 2,000 can be purchased at a price equal to its face value until stocks last. The coin is distributed by the Hungarian Mint Ltd. It will be on sale from 31 August 2015 at the coin shop of the Mint (Budapest, V. ker., Hold u. 17.) and in the Mint’s webshop (http://penzvero.hu/), where a number of collector coins produced from gold, silver and non-ferrous metals issued earlier are also on sale.
